AgfaPhoto DV-5000Z SDHC Camcorder

AgfaPhoto will launch a new camcorder called the DV-5000Z. it features a 5-megapixel Micron CMOS sensor, 2.5-inch flip-out LCD, 3x optical zoom and an SD / SDHC slot to store info on. The DV-5000Z will also be able to capture clips at 1,280 x 720 (using H.264 compression) and 16-bit stereo sound. Additional features include USB connectivity, a rechargeable Li-ion and video out. It’s going for about €249 ($393) in Russia next month. Unfortunately it wont be coming to the States ever. [Engadget]

Nikon will be dropping their “Style Series” of cameras including the COOLPIX S52 and S52c. If you’re looking for wifi than you may want to check out the S52c allowing you to upload pics to Flickr or Nikon’s “my Picturetown.” Both feature 9 megapixel sensors, 3x zoom, optical image stabilization, etc. Look for both in May for S52 $250 and the S52c for $280.
