It still carries the same five recording mode as HG10, from the sharpest resolution with MXP at 1920 x 1080 (equivalent to 24 Mbps), down to 5 Mbps for lower but significantly takes less storage. For your information, 120 Gb can hold up to 45 hours of long recording with comparable quality of image to competitors. Panasonic has recently introduced its latest digital camera, the DMC-FZ28, which offers an 18x optical zoom, a 27mm wide angle Leica lens, and a 2.7 inch LCD screen. The digicam will be available in Titanium or Black in August 2008 with the price tag at €290. Other specs are include a 1/2.33 inch sensor with 10.1 million effective pixels, Venus Engine IV, ISO sensitivity up to 6400, Intelligent Auto Mode (iA), a new auto focus tracking function, Mega O.I.S. stabilization, and face recognition function. FYI, the DMC-FZ28 can also record video in HD quality (1280×720p at 30fps). [Akihabara]

I wouldn't worry about any new $1000-12/1300.00 camera from Nikon being even close to the D300, maybe down the road??..That's all a bunch wishful thinking out there. The D700 is $1300.00 more then the D300 so I wouldn't feel bad for one ...Related posts
